Joliet Unity Movement is proud to announce our Annual 815 Youth Day Sunday August 4, 2024. At 12pm We are kicking off year 11 and boy do we have a full schedule of events, performances, and youth demonstrations for all to enjoy. We will also showcase the many talents of youth in our community with friendly competitions in the Reggie Loc Talent Show, the 3on3 Basketball Tournament, Tug O war, Double Dutch, Dance Off, and more. This year,we are bringing over a dozen Great Community Resource Vendors with lots of awards and giveaways for our youth. 

We have great pride in our message that has resonated with youth and their families alike to Stop Violence in our communities. We have evolved over the years from hosting recreational events and mentoring to leaning into educational events and civic engagement opportunities. We are proud to feature home ownership seminars, financial literacy workshops, and support local businesses. We strongly believe in the notion that economic stability for all is an essential component to reducing violence in our communities. We invite you to come out to celebrate with us and join the Movement that impacts our youth and community.
